Drunk History has a Zero Waste Moment

I loved Artemis Pebdani, and know her from HIMYM and It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia.  She's an amazing comedian, and pretty much always succeeds at getting a laugh out of me with her witty one liners.

So, needless to say, I was super stoked when I saw that she was a narrator for a Drunk History episode! The San Francisco episode, to be precise. But, little did I know, my excitement had just begun, because Artemis was about to make all my zero waste dreams come true (maybe not all of them, but it's a start).

Somewhere in her story telling, I heard a familiar "clink, clink" as her straw moved around her glass.

Could it be?

Yes! Artemis is using a metal straw as she narrates her Drunk History episode!

Not only is it a zero waste win, but Artemis's story is about a BADASS lady: Mary Ellen Pleasant, a freed mixed-race slave who became “the mother of civil rights in California.”

So pour yourself a zero waste beverage, sit back, and enjoy an awesome episode of Drunk History with a waste-conscious comedian!

And according to Artemis, yes, her parents are very proud.
